"Forever and Ever, Amen" by Randy Travis

You may think that I'm talking foolish
You've heard that I'm wild & I'm free
You may wonder how I can promise you now
This love that I'm feeling for you always will be
You're not this time that I'm killing
I'm no longer one of those guys
As sure as I live this love that I give
Is gonna be yours till the day that I die

Chorus
I'm gonna love you forever, forever & ever amen
As long as old men sit & talk about the weather
As long as old women sit & talk about old men
If you wonder how long I'll be faithfull
I'll be happy to tell you again
I'm gonna love you forever & ever, forever & ever amen

They say that time takes its toll on a body
Makes the young girls brown hair turn grey
But honey, I don't care, I'm not in love with your hair
And if it all fell out well I'd love you anyway
They say that time can play tricks on a memory
And people forget things that they knew
But it's easy to see it's happening to me
I've already forgotten every woman but you

Chorus

Just listen to how this song ends
Im gonna love you forever & ever forever & ever
Forever & ever forever & ever amen

I heard this song for the first time this morning and it made me think of how much I love Hannah. This is my new theme song for my love for her :-).

I Am Angry

I am angry. Not necessarily at anybody in particular, but just in general. I am tired and angry. Shane asked me to make a work order for a console (which of course I could not make because I did not have the information yet from the project manager!) and in that split second I just burst into flames and turned and almost smashed my fist into a nearby shelf... but instead just bit down hard, let out a deep breath, and told him I would figure something out. That is my brain right now. If I do not use extreme self control I am going to get myself in trouble.

More Than Meets The Eye

There is more than meets the eye to life. Unfortunately some have missed that crucial truth and now are suffering the consequences. So what are we left with? Pain, disollusionment and emotional scars. Unless the cover is pulled off, things will only get worse. And focusing only on one peice of the big problem just allows the parts to grow worse at uninhibited rates.

We need to search out what is hidden behind the smiling faces.

Too Much

I find blogging easy when life is not too full. During times when life gets too stressful and full I get overwhelmed at the though of trying to put it all into words. So that leads me to now, life is incredibly and deeply stressful and almost disturbing. While this is a point in my life when I have the most to write, I am instead writing this short post. Maybe I will be able to reduce what is happening into words some other time, but for now this will have to do.

We are in Florida with my family right now and today went and visited Grandpa Golden and his wife Georgia and they had an incredible little book of affirmations for cynics entitled Today I Will Nourish My Inner Martyr. While some of the book is humerous, a lot of it can not help but make me think and reflect on myself and those I know. I came across this one peice that really cut deep. It is far more true and reflective than specifically my family possibly realizes:

"I have no need to resolve the wounds of my past;
I am most confortable surrounded by a cloak of denial."

Jerry Bruckheimer
Kelsey Grammer
Larry King
Paul Newman
Robin Williams
Roger Ebert
Samuel L Jackson
Sylvester Stallone
Tom Selleck

Interview

The job interview I went to today went well. First I was told I had to fill out another job application because I filled out my initial one online. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to bring my Resume (I had planned to bring that and a larger list of references) but did my darndest to fill it all in by memory. I was able to find all the information I needed from my memory and using the internet on my phone. Then I was given two number tests. They are some sort of IQ tests that test your speed, accuracy, comprehension and reasoning with numbers. I am sure I did well on those.

The interviewer was very professional and just asked me questions and jotted things down on a paper. Afterwards, I was told that I will be contacted in three to five days as to whether or not they want me to come in for an interview with the Warehouse Manager himself. We will see! The biggest strike against me is that I have not used a forklift of cherry picker before though I have done Warehouse work.

It is in God's hands now! If He wants me to work there, I know He will work it out.

Pooping, Pooping, Pooping

So Barnabas has taken to holding his poop all day long and then pooping inside overnight. We get up in the morning to find he has pooped in the kitchen or sometimes even in his kennel! This can not continue because it is driving me insane. And of course I am aaaalways the first person in the morning to see it and therefore need to take care of it. I am pretty sure that at least one person has a high likelihood to have seen it before me, but probably shut up about it hoping I would see it. Thanks. But first last week we woke up to find he pooped in his kennel. We were quite shocked, what dog when locked up poops in his own kennel? Sam hosed it out but I was the one who actually got inside and scraped it out and cleaned it. So the next morning we had not put him in his kennel (still drying from the cleaning) and Sam found poop on the floor. He had the decency to clean it up. Then the next day HE DID IT AGAIN! This time I had to clean it up. The next day he was in his kennel AND POOPED AGAIN! Then he spent one night without pooping. But the next night we came down to find three piles of soupy poop! Then the next day was today and he pooped on the floor again.

I just do not know what to do.
